Ton Duc Thang University is a public university. Established on September 24, 1997, TDTU has developed into one of the TOP 2 universities in Vietnam. In 2018, TDTU officially became the first university in Vietnam with the rating of 4 out of 5 stars (QS Stars University Ratings) and was ranked among 291-300 in Asia’s TOP 500 universities by QS Asia University Rankings.
TDTU was also accredited and recognized by the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES) of the Republic of France. The World University Rankings by Academic Performance (URAP) ranked TDTU 1,422nd in the world leading universities in 2018-2019.
