I found it so much easier to just turn the weather off than deal with it.
You keep jumping forward with your editing and it's really annoying… It's like one really long intro/highlight of your game… And it's REALLY annoying…
Al-An mentions the statistical improbability of surviving technological advancement. That’s actually one of the hypotheses for why humanity hasn’t found another intelligent life form yet (and if we actually can).
Think about it: humanity reached radio-technology around a hundred years ago, and with it the ability to search the cosmos for other life. But after that, we also invented mustard gas, nuclear bombs, drone weaponry, ICBMs, and increased our carbon emissions, and only travelled to our natural satellite. Statistically, that’s a lot more ways to kill ourselves (accidentally AND on purpose) and like two attempts at searching the universe outside of our planet.
The hypothesis asks “maybe intelligent life isn’t capable of surviving long enough to travel deep space”.
I think that hypothesis is a load of bull because there’s absolutely no reason to assume other life forms will be ANYTHING like what we see on Earth, but it’s one of the questions floating around alien life.
