SSD vs HDD boot time – ThinkPad T400
I bought a new SSD for my ThinkPad and thought I’d show the boot time difference.
I also upgraded the RAM but it has no big effect on boot time, maybe a second or two.
I have another laptop (Gigabyte Aero 15X) with an NVMe SSD, it boots to Ubuntu desktop in like ~10 seconds.
