You can use the HDR mode with the telephoto that fixes the problem with Backlit performance.
Could you do a video showing the phone taking pictures using Google's Gcam app? Or if the app even exists for the Mate 30 pro.

I don't understand why Huawei took out their Pro Video mode from the camera app. It has metering, exposure value, focus adjustment, and white balance options.
I have it on my Honor 8, though it doesn't have great video quality.

Huawei mate 30 pro has great camera for image..not for video..4k 60 quality just average…also 4k 30 cannot beat iphone 11 hdr,detail…
