  1. i didnt have no realtek drivers soo… i smacked my laptop.. it froze.. held in the power button.. turned it back on… and it worked… (also the realtek drivers were magically back after i rebooted)

  2. I did what you said going to let me see drivers on my comp and when I click on it it says windows does not recommend bc it cant verify compatibility with my hardware. is that normal and will it be ok if I click ok anyways. My Mic wont work at all.i plug it in and nothing recognizes it or if it does it cant hear me talk unless I scream into left ear piece.

  3. Well, the Realtek HD Audio doesn't even appear in my Device Manager. So it's like it's completely not in my computer even though the application and files that are related to it are present in Program Files. I've going around the Internet and the majority of suggestions only telling me to either uninstall and reinstall the program or update it. Now, I'm just thinking to completely reinstall my windows 10 and get the Realtek back, also to clean my computer from viruses and stuff. But man, if only someone knows how to fix this issue, that would be helpful.

  4. Thank you! Landed here after getting bounced around numerous videos and troubleshooting pages about an issue with my PC not detecting any of my headphones. Kept directing me to various settings that I couldn't see, including Realtek HD Audio Manager, and so ended up here. Midway through following the instructions in this video, after manually installing the realtek driver (not HD audio manager, just 'Realtek Audio' in the device list) the sound suddenly went from playing through my laptop speakers to my headphones… I'm still unclear on what the problem was and why this fixed it, would be appreciate a more detailed explanation of the issue in case it happens again… Anyone?

  5. Thanks. I used Search Automatically to update the driver and this worked just fine. If I choose "Browse My Computer: it gave a warning that iit can't gurantee it's the right driver. Bys using the first method I am also assured I'm getting the most current driver and software.

  6. so am i but i found out the problem its windows microsoft totalcontrol of your life its called eletronic harssament try looking it up they wont let me get nothing from windows7 updated to 10 total control wait till your chipped then your all fucked

  7. 1. I downloaded the thing from the Microsoft Website at 2:57, I extracted the file, but none of the .exe seem to work.
    2. I went into my File Explorer and found the .exe (same as 7:00), I realized they were the same .exe as in the thing I downloaded, but none of the .exe seem to work.

  8. at 7:00 you show the files, but what can I do if my files are non executable, or they are not ending with .exe? Also I have plenty more than you, which I definitely think can be a problem.
