–Make sure you Run steam as ADMIN and try again.

–for anyone that can’t get the overlay to appear go to where you have the game installed
Right Click, Properties, Compatibility disable Run this program as Administrator
Controller Settings File (Link Updated 13/05/2018)
If you don’t want to map, you can put the File.vdf in:
Once you’re in-Game
Open Overlay — Controller Settings — Browse Config — Templates — Dynasty Warriors 9 controller settings — Apply Configuration — Done.
SteamuserdataUserid(or just a number)241100remotecontroller_configName of the game
(You have to First add the game as non-steam game and Run it once, then you will se a folder with the game name Inside “controller_config”)
Once you’re In-Game
Open Overlay — Controller Settings — Browse Config — Personal — Dynasty Warriors 9 controller settings — Apply Configuration — Done.
There is no difference between “Easy way” and “Cleaner way” the cleaner way is for if you don’t want a Templates folder with Many configuration of different games .. That’s all :d
The easy way… Well… It’s very Easy.
Another Way to Edit:
If Jump Doesn’t work :
Make sure your Keyboard “Enter” key is assigned to Jump
And Skip to “Space”
