Apple’s Best Mac Right Now

The 2019 iMac, particularly the 21.5 inch 4K retina model is a surprisingly great value. Just don’t buy the base model! Thanks to VARIDESK for sponsoring this video! • Learn more about VARIDESK by visiting

  1. I'm planning to buy (Customize iMac) mainly for music production but I might also use it for video editing, I wanted to know what if i have to choose from two options like:

    3.6GHz 8-core 9th-generation / 8GB RAM / Radeon Pro 580X with 8GB of GDDR5 memory / 1TB SSD .

    OR

    3.7GHz 6-core 9th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.6GHz / 8GB RAM / 1TB SSD

with Radeon Pro Vega 48 with 8GB of HBM2 memory

Which one is the best choice ?

I'm going to upgrade Ram by myself later in both options.
    So basically I'm confuse between (3.6GHz 8-core & Radeon Pro Vega 48)

    Thanks

  2. 27inch base model 3.0GHz imac, is it enough for video and photo editing?or do I need to upgrade the SSD and RAM myself?

  3. Would you rather, Have a 1TB 5400-rpm Hard Drive, or have a very fast 128GB SSD. Reply for 1TB HDD, or Like for 128GB SSD.

literally 2 months after the review – Jony left apple (thats how jony is…………)

  5. the only thing that holding me from buying an iMac till this point is because they still use HDD instead of SSD.
C'mon apple, Even if it's only SATA SSD I will buy one!

  6. I think the Fusion Drive is a great compromise. I’m using it on my iMac and since the HDD is paired to an SSD the computer feels significantly faster

  7. How the i5 is able to keep up with the i9 in the MacBook pro is beyond me. I'm looking at an iMac and was thinking that for some Final Cut and more intensive programs I'd need to go all out, but clearly all I need is the i5 and the 560X

  8. it is still by no means ugly… it’s actually gorgeous, but it needs to move with the times… we’ve loved and still love this design but let’s make something new…

  9. Hi Jonathan, can you do a comparison, lets say import RAW images into Lightroom ( lets say 1000 ) export same amount as Jpegs 300dppi and seperate as Tiff. To be compared against all 32 Ram, but different Cores. In this way to get a Time versus $$ value.

  10. Anyone else use the Samsung T5 with their IMac with 1TB fusion drive? Any problems configuring it? How do you backup your computer if you are using external memory?

  11. Hello Jonathan, I wanted to know if for one of those coincidences you have a functional iPhone Xs screen that you want to donate, I live in Honduras but I have an address in the USA where in case you would like to collaborate with me you can send it to that address, let me know if you want to help me and it would be very thankful. 12. Another huge issue is that 21.5" is way too small for 2019. The models should be 27" and 32/34" at least by now.

  13. I wouldn't mind one of these modern 21.5' iMac computers. I have been looking online at the Apple store for a nicely spec'd one. Soon, I'll have to pull the trigger. (:

  14. Jonathan, inremember you toled that in some Vid, but its some Time ago; whats that Desk the two 21 iMacs beeing reviewed ? Thanks for your answer!

  15. I like the table that is featured in this video. What is the brand name of the table supporting the two iMacs? Thanks!

  16. Is it just me, or does this video feel a little slow. I mean I played the entire thing in 1.25x speed and it felt completely normal

  17. Dude! There is not point in mastering RED 8K footage at 8K. The actual resolution from an 8K camera with a Beyer filter after debeyering is around 5.6K.
